Open source
TrustGraph is fully open source under a permissive licence. This is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.
What this means in practice
No proprietary components. The entire platform — every service, every API, every processing pipeline — is open source. There are no closed-source modules that unlock critical functionality. What you see in the repository is what runs in production.
Self-host anywhere. Run TrustGraph on your own infrastructure — on-premise, in your cloud account, or on a laptop. Your data stays where you put it. There’s no call-home, no telemetry, no dependency on external services (beyond your chosen LLM provider).
Full auditability. You can inspect every line of code, every processing step, every data flow. In regulated environments where you need to demonstrate how AI systems work, this matters. You’re not trusting a vendor’s claims — you’re reading the source.
No vendor lock-in. TrustGraph works with multiple graph stores, vector databases, LLM providers, and messaging fabrics. If you want to swap a component, you can. If you want to fork and customise, you can.
Community-driven development. The roadmap, issue tracking, and development process are public. Features are driven by real-world use cases, not sales targets.
TrustGraph Enterprise
For organisations that need commercial support, TrustGraph Enterprise provides additional capabilities built on top of the open source platform:
- Enterprise RBAC with fine-grained access control
- Attestation engine for cryptographic proof of AI reasoning
- Long-term support and SLAs
- Professional services and training
The open source platform is production-ready on its own. Enterprise adds the governance, compliance, and support layer that large organisations require.
